Maintenance
What's new is that the development begins with a digital model of a machine, and the physical production system will be aligned with this model.

How much does the machine's workload affect maintenance intervals and the replacement of wear parts?
The first version of the maintenance cockpit is ready. The considerations continue. How significantly does the machine's workload influence maintenance intervals and the replacement of wear parts? This is just one of the questions our development team is currently working on. We are also discussing how machine maintenance differs from tool maintenance and how much overlap there is. Would it make sense to form a joint optimization team for both the machine and the tools and develop apps to actively support this team?
Unlike a physical stamping press, its digital twin, which is currently the focus of our development, is available throughout the entire company network. Toolmaking and maintenance have simultaneous access and are actively supported by the digital machine in parallel. The maintenance cockpit is available on large monitors in both departments. Simultaneous maintenance planning and its optimal preparation can be carried out even during the production process. This reduces downtime and increases productivity.
