Process stability analysis is available as an app.

The number of machine downtimes within a defined period is a key indicator of process stability. In most cases, this is accompanied by a loss of speed. Therefore, you should intervene as early as possible to maintain high productivity.

The new process stability app is now available. As usual, the digital twins of the machines and systems automatically provide the information. This is made possible by the maximum integration of all data sources, such as machine controllers, CAQ software, fieldbus systems, and databases. Manual entry of additional information is not required.

The app consists of the tables Process Speed , Process Speed Details , Process Stability and Process Stability Details, and a chart that graphically displays the speed deviations .

Process Speed: The average process speed and the deviation from the planned value are displayed with reference to the machine and article.

Process Speed Details : Detailed information on the process speed. You receive information about the time course of the process and can see if there were any speed deviations in certain sections.

Process Speed Chart: Graphical representation of planned and actual speed over time. See at a glance how the process speed is developing.

Process Stability: A concrete indication of the number of downtimes and restarts within a shift. This metric reveals the stability of a process. To determine this metric, production time segments lasting less than 5 minutes are evaluated.

Process Stability Details: Chronological sequence of process time types (production, setup, interruptions, etc.) that explains the nature of downtime. Here you can see, for example, how the process behaves after setup. This should be particularly interesting during the initial production of a new item.
